Today I finished a sign for at the top of the road way...it's hard to see our house number. I did paint them black so you can see them better but thought this would help, for visitor coming over....especially with the never ending dark that's coming. I only painted on the number onto a piece of 2x4 and used craft paint I had on hand...so not sure how long the paint will last but we will see...

Sept 23 2012 ~sewing not my thing...=(
So today I'm trying to sew on a zipper into a jacket I got for DS a few years ago...nothing special, but the zipper broke pretty much after we got it....I found a zipper for $3 at Walmart, so am trying to sew with my old Singer Merritt 9608....just found the manual on line...=) that makes me happy...I like instructions....my brain doesn't remember things to well....so I have a zipper foot...and just found out how to put it on...just have to try it out....but may have to get a thicker needle like for jeans....I think I have one...I should try and find it....another mission/adventure...So stay tuned one day I will be finished it I hope....=)

Sept 22 2012 ~ crafts I have been doing...ARE
I haven't been doing to much Crafting...I have made a Bucket List for Alaska, a Birthday Calender...still have to finish it...but love the idea...got the idea from Pinterest...along with alot of cool ideas...just have to find the time and money to do every craft .... =) Leaves are falling here in Alaska, I have been Crocheting some Boot cuffs for a couple of friends, and did make another Jack Hat for my friend in Kamloops. I'm not really sure where Jan went but it's just about over...today we got snow again....here in BC (well in the Vancouver area) we don't get snow at all usually, so it's getting in our way....and now that I'm running it's really getting in my way, running on the treadmill, is not fun at all...lol but I do make my way there once a week for my Friday run. I got 2 pairs of runners so I'm breaking them in so to speak....=) only a blister or two so far.
Well I have to go, I'm sewing on a sponsor logo to my sons hockey teams jersey's to sets....sigh...lol it's all good, just a quick hand stitch, so they will come off easy at the end of the season.

Today I raked up some leaves that the kids and I had raked and left way back in sept/oct....there was lots and lots of worm in the pile....it was a ucky job but someone had to do it....=)
It's a rest day from running today, tomorrow night my friend and I will be running an 11 km, then I'm on my own for an 18km the next day....I'm busy on Friday so I have to up the run.
Well Chadwick has hockey tonight and Veronica has sparks, so it's another busy night around here, I may get some stitching time in later we will see, bye for now

The highlight of the trip was finally meeting Patty, when I was looking up at one of the parents at the area, and saw that familiar face....it was a surprise....=) I didn't know if I would recognize her...but I did...lol now I just wish she lived closer so we could get together more often.
I loved the bag she gave me, Patty did a fabulous job....I wish I knew how to sew as well as her....=)
So today after the check out at the hotel my family and I meet up with Patty again, the boys going to Walmart and the three of us (Patty, DD and I) heading to check out Michaels....we had a great time. Only sad we had to head back to Maple Ridge.
oh ya...I picked up a Hands free magnifier...didn't like it, so I bought some magnify glasses today. So I'm excited to stitch....soooon...lol I have the bug...lol look out.....
So now we are home and I better get dinner going and the laundry started....Happy Stitching all....

I still haven't been doing much stitching, but slow and steady on the ballet dancer...
Last weekend I went for a 10 am to 10 pm Scrapbook Crop, I have a wonderful time, just like in Vegas....you don't realize how fast the day goes by. I got 6 pages done I think and did 3 more since the crop.
I went for a run on Monday with my friend Julie O and then again in the night with my friends, Julie, Nicki and my DS.
Tonight we are planning on going again, but DH isn't home so I will have to take both kids so we will see.
Any now just wanted to update everyone on our moving news, it will be nicer to be closer to family and friends with out having to take the darn ferry....bye for now

so lets see what have I been up to......Well first off my sister and
brother in law, had a baby boy...Osten March 30th in Fort McMurray...so I
guess the ladybug birth announcement just doesn't work....=( I thought
she was having a girl...lol she ended up after going 7 cent for almost
one whole day getting a c section....they are both doing well...and I
guess I have to get another birth announcement going....sigh...lolSo we found out we are moving, some time in the summer, to Victoria, BC. Which will be closer to family, only a 3 hour drive or so....=)
So I'm busy getting our house stagged up, decluttered ...etc....we are going to be losing money so I"m making it the best looking it can be.....=) Houses in Victoria arent cheaper, which sucks....another sigh.
So May 3rd is coming real quick for my second 1/2 marathon....I'm not really ready like I was back in Feb, so I'm a bit scared....I'm thinking I will be sore again afew days after, I did a 15 km the other day and hurt some what...so 21 km will probably hurt abit more...I wish I had done a 21km in Feb....but oh well....
I haven't been stitching at all...but look at my WIP every day...lol

Hello
to all....we have been busy busy around here doing nothing....well we
did sell our house and bought a new house, and are moving July 19th...so
that's exciting. I have been doing a bit of stitching, but my eyes are
getting old....so it's not as much fun. I will add pics soon of the
projects I have been doing. Here's a pic of our new house, I can't wait
to get there and get some gardens started....the front has a few plants
hopefully they haven't died. Well I will hopefully keep you all up to

Well I have done a bit of stitching, but still trying to get things put into the proper spot, and lots of visitors it seems...=) it's so nice to be a 2 hour or so drive to family.
We got a new car yesterday, a BMW and my husband is loving it....=) it's black, I will post a couple new pics here soon.
Well I will go, DD and I picked blackberries today, so I made a blackberry crisp, and it's just coming out of the oven, and smells so good....=)

I haven't been doing any running or cross stitching...and hope to get back into that real soon, I'm going to be running the Nike 10km World Run on the 24 of Oct. you just run on the day and have your ipod Nike thing and then log it...it's so easy and see you how you did after with the world racers...=) I did it last year, its' kind of neat to think of everyone running on this day....
Well I guess I better go and do something around this house, still have my craft room/family room still to unpack....and organize. My eczema on my hand is really bothering me right now and hurts so much...grrrr....

DD has started horse back riding, and loves loves loves it....=) Today she starts Brownies, so that will be fun for her also.
I have started running again....gradually....lol the first few runs almost killed me....and it was no long at all, back up to a 5 km now..getting ready for the 10 km on the 24th of Oct....and that will be here before I know it.
Still no stitching...I'm thinking of going right now and doing a bit of a WIP from some time ago...we will see, I also need to weed my garden...so maybe a bit of both....=)

I have been doing some stitching, but find in the day it's much easier on my eyes, and will post pics of my slow WIP, it's of the mouse in the watering can, I really should start something christmasie but haven't got the bug yet. I have got my Chrismas cards in the mail today, just a picture. I think it's a great deal at Costco I got 75 pictures with envelopes for $23 so, it's so easy...=) of course it's the postage that cost, but I usually only send to most on my list at Christmas, so it works out to be not to bad.
I'm just going to go and look for the xmas lights and see if we can get them up before the next rain storm rolls in.

We had a wonderful Christmas, spending it with family, and lovely New Years, our friends from Maple Ridge came over for a visit. DS's hockey team had a hockey tournament and came 2nd. They all played so well.
I have been thinking alot about my BFF's 2yr old, she was diagnosed with Kidney Cancer before Christmas....so so sad, she's in Vancouver's Childrens Hospital, the best on in BC.
I have decided to cross stitch the Letter's W for her and C for her sister, I'm doing it over 1 on 28 fabric, and will update pics soon, I just started yesterday. I will probably just make pillows to hang on the door.
Well I should go and get stitching, and finish un decorating our house....Oh ya I did my 1st 5km run for 2010 yesterday, I really have to get my ass moving in this department.

I have just about finished my Horse for DD, I just have to do the back stitching....=)
So I guess I have been stitching....lol ...I haven't been running, my ankle is still hurting....grrr
I also had my filling redone in Dec and now my tooth is so so so hurting so I have to get a root canal done to it on Thursday, so I'm an antibiotics and pain killers.
Tomorrow we have to get up to go to DS hockey clinic on fore checking, it starts at 7:00 am...so early to bed tonight.....=)
I'm not sure if I said we are going on a cruise....It's a Disney Mediterranean one....so we can't wait and I'm sure it will be here before we know it....=)

it's Feb 1st already, I can't believe it. It's Monday around here,
kids are almost ready for school, then what to do....my tooth is still
hurting and Thursday I'm heading to the dentist. Tomorrow I have to
take DD to the Orthodontist, so I'm sure that will be fun....not,
she's going to need braces. so we will see what his plan will be.I finished D Horse and Rider Cross stitch, and will post the finish picture soon. We didn't do much over the weekend and I can't believe it's over already.
I haven't been doing any thing, last week I weeded my gardens at one side and the front of the house. it's been so so mild here. The 2010 Olympics start soon, and the one mountain is looking pretty brown, but they say they are moving snow down, and making snow and it will be just fine, so we will see. I can't believe it will be here so soon. Any how I have to go, have a great day all....=)

everyone, so the weekend is here, it's another busy one, some
what.....=) today we made for my Son's Vietnam project a paper mache
diorama, will this is it waiting to dry, then painting and adding his
touch...=) He's doing it with a friend, but mom had to step in to help,
because it wasn't going any where...=(So I have to buy some paint tomorrow because I thought we had some but can't find it...=(

We went geo caching also today, the first time this year, it was so nice like a spring day about 8 degrees C (46.4 F). We found 4 finds, but one we didn't find and was driving us so hard to find it, but left to maybe go back another day.
Then tomorrow, my sons hockey game in the am, then taking my husband to a Superbowl party, and I just might stay for a bit we will see how it goes. Then to buy paint, and get started painting my sons project. then dinner for us....or what ever else happens...=)

Hi all, so it's busy busy around here like always....lol but I did manage to finish my mouse in the watering can....I'm going to do a few WIP I have, next is two Ballet dancers...small wips and I will send them to Wren and her sister, they had some pictures of the both with there tutus on...so I thought that would be nice...=)
Then I have my Tea Cups, I got way back...and so I will do that next....
So today I think I found myself a running buddy....She's great and I think will keep me motivated....=) to get back into running and get some of this weight off....about 30lbs I have gained back and I'm not happy about it....=( So hopefully this is the big push, to get on it again.

We are getting excited for our up coming Mediterranean Disney Cruise....our first cruise, so can't wait. I have to start packing soon...=)
DS has joined Army Cadets, so now my Tuesday night are filled with driving downtown and hanging out from 6:00 to 9:15...to far from home to come back in between.
DD is still in Brownies Wed nights, and will be starting Garden Club when we get back from our trip...that's for me and her....=) to get some tips....
I have been stitching a bit, I'm working on my Tea Cups...WIP that I started a few years ago, I will post pics soon....I'm working on all the stitching first then I will do the back stitching etc after on all 3 cups.

DS has his Cadet ARC (Annual Ceremonial Review ) tonight, then camping this weekend, and Cadets will be over until Sept.
DD is done Brownies, and is just in a Kids Garden Club, that meets once a month.
School is almost done for another year, I can't believe it. DS will be moving onto Grade 8 and DD grade 3.

We are heading to the beach tomorrow with DD's friend, her sister and her Grandma, so the kids will have a fun time looking for shells/crabs...etc. It's been so hot here, we are breaking weather temps all over the board. it's a bit cooler here being on the ocean, we get alot of fog.

So needless to say I haven't done to much stitching but try to get a bit done when I have time. I will post pics of my WIP....it's coming along well, now that I got the missing colour floss,...etc...and I don't know why companies say to stitch with 3 strands....I like the look of 2 and I still run out of floss.....thank god I have a lot in my floss stash. I haven't bought any stitching stuff in so long, I have so much here to stitch....okay maybe I have bought new needles, because they seem to go missing and I like the smaller ones. 28th already. I can't believe it, we are busy busy around here, seems
like we never get a day off, it's good and bad all rolled into one. but
78 days until our next Disney Cruise, so we will get some down time
then. My sister and brother in law from Fort McMurray had a new baby boy so two boys for them. photo to the side of them all....wish I could visit them but it's just to far away and need to save for our Cruise. I'm working on the same pillow I made for Osten when he was born.
I'm stitching in the letter for the baby announcement I made a few years ago and will post pic when finished, for a girl at work, who had a baby girl the day after my sister did.

another busy week and end....DD had Otoplasty done on Friday,
again....her bad ear just didn't look right, and not hopefully it will
be pinned back enough. She has to wear this bandage for a week.
We had our friend's over on Sat for a BBQ and to watch the Red Wings play and that went well, so tonight we are heading to their house to watch game 2.....
I did pick up my Through the Years, and stitched maybe 5 stitches tops....=( I haven't been doing anything...
DD and I weeded the back year flower gardens yesterday, and I re potted more tomato plants, so I hope I have some cherry tomato by the time I'm done.....=) We also, planted some sunflowers, and marigolds seed form so will look forward to them growing.

going....DD got her bandage off on Thursday and her ear looks
good, still red and a bit swellan. I will add a pic here, and will add

We are off to my son's Ball Hockey it's the second to last game before the play offs, so ball hockey is just about finished....then we will have nothing to do....but maybe Geocache. =)
Tomorrow my friend and I are going to do a 5 km run....we hopefully will do well and are still training for the 1/2 marathon June 22 2008.

Today
is Friday....I can't believe it...time is going by so quickly. So on
Sunday I did my first 5km run.....=) my time was 34:47 so I'm pretty
happy....then I think it was tuesday I did another run 5km, then wed
night I did a 6.24 km run on my treadmill, then yesterday i did a 10 km
run on my treadmill.....yippy....in 1:12'55 I was going to do a 10km on
sunday but it cost $40 so I think I will just do some thing myself....my
friend is getting made with all this running....she's like you are
going to leave me in the dust at the 1/2 marathon....I was sucking it up
on the 10km run, and I want to be able to not die after the race June
22.
Oh ya and I wanted to say thanks to Nancy for telling me about www.sparkpeople.com....I love this site and DH is even having a go at it....we are getting ready for Disney World Aug 6 to 19th....=)
I started a small cs project for a friends new baby, because of the rain and cold weather, I don't mind doing it.
Well I have to go it's a short day for DD and DS at school, DD goes from 10:20 to 11:50am then both kids are off for the day. I can't wait until next year, both kids in full day...well from 8:30 to 2:35.....take care Happy stitching all....=)

everyone, so on Sunday I did my First 1/2 marathon, I did it in 2:32 I
was very proud of myself and can't wait to next year to do it
again...well a different 1/2 marathon but one all the same. I was sore
on late monday, tuesday, and wed, so I'm hoping to not have that
again....I think it was the hill that did my legs in or the 21km I'm not
sure....lol
So I have been doing a bit of stitching in the night, nothing to show as of yet but will send an update when I get some thing to show.
So both my kids are finished school for the summer, and both are moving to the next grade.....DS will be in grade 6 and DD grade 1....oh my what will I do ....exercise is what I'm going to do....I can see 145lbs so hope to be there next year...we will see.
We are heading camping this weekend with my cousin and here family so we should have lots of fun, it's our Canada Long weekend...July 1st holiday. And the weatherman is calling for sunshine.....yippy. Well Happy July 4th to everyone, take care and I will update later

this weekend we went camping and it was so beautiful, DD was
swimming like a fish, and DS did get in quite abit.....=) we got
alot of sun, that's for sure, it was hot. Everyone was trying to find
shade. We camped just over the US border at Ross Lake, a couple hours
from our house.
Now we are home and just hanging out after our weekend, DH had to go to work today. Happy July 1st to all my Canadian friends and Happy July 4th to all my American friends.....just incase I don't get online before then. Take care

all so we are home from our mini Vacation to Vancouver Island, the kids
and I went to see family. We camped, visited, the kids swam....the
weather was very nice....=) finally summer is here......=) better late
then not at all.
So 23 days until we go to Disney World in Florida....we can't wait.....=)
I haven't been doing to much I weeded my back gardens again, the front ones need done again. A few plants died when we went away...DH didn't get the water plant memo....grrrr.....lol oh well I will just have to buy more....=)
Today the kids went to the dentist and both kids didn't have any cavities.....so that was nice.

all, I have been busy I guess....lol with school starting and hockey,
ballet and sparks....life for me is busy. DH just left yesterday
for a course in Kingston, Ont until Oct 24, so we will be sole for a
bit....but still busy with the kids. DS is in Grade 6 and
Veronica in Grade 1...DS is at the stage where he's not happy
with school, but Veronica is having a wonderful time, just really tired
by the end of the night.

I haven't been doing much in the running area, but are getting back into it again....soooo My friend and I are going in a race Oct 26th 9.95km don't ask....pretty much a 10 km, then in another race Nov some time....those are the ones we are thinking of now...more to come we hope.....=)
So
what's new around here? DH is home from Kingston Ont, he's been
gone on a course since Sept 13 - Oct 25...so it's nice to have us all
under one roof again. I've been working on my Ladybug birth
announcement it's getting almost done...just have to wait for a baby to
be born....so I can fill in the blanks. I stitched a quick baby boy
pillow for DD's teacher, friday is her last day she's due any day
and is having a boy. it's not perfect but will due for a quick
stitch....some of the stitches aren't really showing up on the little
blue fabric....but it will have to do...I can't change it now.
I'm going to be making some spider cookies for DD's halloween party at school, I made one batch and they went real quick...the choc is a pain to put one though...but they look so cute. I will take a pic when I get them done...my other camera broke so I just got DH home with the new camera, so I could take some pics. We are busy busy around here and of course everything is on Tuesday nights it seems...but it's all good now that DH is home....any how Happy Halloween everyone just in case I don't get back on for a while....oh ya I ran a 9.5km race on Sunday with my friend Julie, and we are hoping to do one every month until our 1/2 marathon in May 2009...okay Happy stitching all....=)

out there.....in your land....=) Well not much cross stitching being
done around here....but I'm getting a few things going...looking at
everyones pics makes me want to stitch...lol
I have been doing alot of running.....=) I'm not getting skinnier but, I'm feeling great about it...I'm sure it will come....Today I went for a run up a mountain pretty much...lol 1 h 46 mins....my knee is a bit sore so I'm going to ice it now.
My running schedule:
Monday day with Julie O and her sister about a hour then sometimes I go with my other friend Julie H and a couple of friends - a light run/walk
Tuesday a rest day
Wed night I run with Julie O about 40 or so minutes
Thursday a rest day
Friday night I go with my friend Julie H and a couple of friends - a light run/walk
Sat a rest dau
Sunday Just started running with Julie O and a running group
This Sunday coming up - I'm doing a 5 km race with Julie H and a few friends
My friend Julie H and I are going to do another 1/2 marathon in May 2009 so I'm hoping to feel way better after this race....=)

all, well I can't believe it's Dec 10th....I'm slowly getting
everything done...we will be at our parents again for Christmas, and
will be home for new years...and then a hockey tournament. Dec 1-4th,
close to home so that makes it nice.
I have been doing a bit of stitching but not much at all, I think I'm having trouble seeing....so in the new year I will be heading to the eye doc...=(

Well
another busy week and end....DD had Otoplasty done on Friday,
again....her bad ear just didn't look right, and not hopefully it will
be pinned back enough. She has to wear this bandage for a week.We had our friend's over on Sat for a BBQ and to watch the Red Wings play and that went well, so tonight we are heading to their house to watch game 2.....
I did pick up my Through the Years, and stitched maybe 5 stitches tops....=( I haven't been doing anything...
DD and I weeded the back year flower gardens yesterday, and I re potted more tomato plants, so I hope I have some cherry tomato by the time I'm done.....=) We also, planted some sunflowers, and marigolds seed form so will look forward to them growing.
Well I hope everyone has a great week....Happy sunshine......summer will be here soon.....

We are off to my son's Ball Hockey it's the second to last game before the play offs, so ball hockey is just about finished....then we will have nothing to do....but maybe Geocache. =)
Tomorrow my friend and I are going to do a 5 km run....we hopefully will do well and are still training for the 1/2 marathon June 22 2008.

I started a small cs project for a friends new baby, because of the rain and cold weather, I don't mind doing it.
Well I have to go it's a short day for DD and DS at school, DD goes from 10:20 to 11:50am then both kids are off for the day. I can't wait until next year, both kids in full day...well from 8:30 to 2:35.....take care Happy stitching all....=)

everyone, so on Sunday I did my First 1/2 marathon, I did it in 2:32 I
was very proud of myself and can't wait to next year to do it
again...well a different 1/2 marathon but one all the same. I was sore
on late monday, tuesday, and wed, so I'm hoping to not have that
again....I think it was the hill that did my legs in or the 21km I'm not
sure....lolSo I have been doing a bit of stitching in the night, nothing to show as of yet but will send an update when I get some thing to show.
So both my kids are finished school for the summer, and both are moving to the next grade.....DS will be in grade 6 and DD grade 1....oh my what will I do ....exercise is what I'm going to do....I can see 145lbs so hope to be there next year...we will see.
We are heading camping this weekend with my cousin and here family so we should have lots of fun, it's our Canada Long weekend...July 1st holiday. And the weatherman is calling for sunshine.....yippy. Well Happy July 4th to everyone, take care and I will update later

So
this weekend we went camping and it was so beautiful, DD was
swimming like a fish, and DS did get in quite abit.....=) we got
alot of sun, that's for sure, it was hot. Everyone was trying to find
shade. We camped just over the US border at Ross Lake, a couple hours
from our house. Now we are home and just hanging out after our weekend, DH had to go to work today. Happy July 1st to all my Canadian friends and Happy July 4th to all my American friends.....just incase I don't get online before then. Take care

Hi
all so we are home from our mini Vacation to Vancouver Island, the kids
and I went to see family. We camped, visited, the kids swam....the
weather was very nice....=) finally summer is here......=) better late
then not at all.So 23 days until we go to Disney World in Florida....we can't wait.....=)
I haven't been doing to much I weeded my back gardens again, the front ones need done again. A few plants died when we went away...DH didn't get the water plant memo....grrrr.....lol oh well I will just have to buy more....=)
Today the kids went to the dentist and both kids didn't have any cavities.....so that was nice.
I ran on my treadmill today, a 5 km run, it was warm....=) it's all good.

all, I have been busy I guess....lol with school starting and hockey,
ballet and sparks....life for me is busy. DH just left yesterday
for a course in Kingston, Ont until Oct 24, so we will be sole for a
bit....but still busy with the kids. DS is in Grade 6 and
Veronica in Grade 1...DS is at the stage where he's not happy
with school, but Veronica is having a wonderful time, just really tired
by the end of the night.here's a pic of the first day of school....not the happiest but them any how....lol

I have been busy, with our family moving and just summer in general. I have got a bit of time in stitching but not much.

Hi So it's almost Halloween, the kids are dressing up like a witch and a
blood faced...mask....=) can you guess which is witch....=) I will take
pics soon.
We have to do our pumpkins tonight or tomorrow...probably tonight.
We haven't been up to much lately, just hanging out. I have been doing a bit of stitching, and have added pics to the site.
Well I have to go and have a shower, went for 80 min walk today...I started out cold and was sweating by the time I was home....I have had trouble with my heels...and really need new runners, but they cost so much....
The
kids had a great time, we went to a lot of houses...not that the kids
need the candy, but we meet up with some friends at went to more houses. DD's bag got heavy and she used her hat, then we but it into her
bag....but the kids did well even though they got up at 4:30 am for
hockey.
I did acouple more stitches on the snowman I'm working on. Yesterday I ordered some stash from an online shop...with our dollar above par it's alot nicer and with only Michaels around....I just had to order something....=) I will take pics when the package arrives....take care

snow from yesterday, and it's gone now because of the rain.
I have been stitching santa magnets for family and they are taking forever. Almost done and I will send pics soon, the camera batteries are ready to go out the window...rechargeables....grrrrr they make me made.
Well I will talk to you all later, still looking for a job, but not much out in this town, that is worth the $9.00 an hour....with day care costing $7 or so ....the hunt continues. bye for now and Happy Stitching and shopping wrapping baking...etc...

Saturday all.... =) it's cold here but sunny. We went to hockey today
am...DS's team did well, they are all playing so well, they have
won the last two games.
We are heading out shopping after lunch here, I have to get a few things.
I finished my Santa magnets, and I'm working on some more with bigger count. I made 6 taller Santa's, and 5 square ones...I think, I'm working on 2 bigger square Santa's. I have finished baking my xmas things, I made whipped shortbread, gingerbread cookies, butter tarts, nanaimo bars, and sugar cookies, we still have to decorate them.
I'm pretty much done all my shopping for Christmas, but still have to get a few odds and ends.
Well have a great weekend, I will talk to you all soon

I finished all my santa magnets, I'm making this year, and now I'm looking for something to stitch. maybe I should start on next years projects....we will see
So I'm self employed now....I have two houses I clean for, and they are really happy, and the news is spreading....=) I like doing it, I like cleaning bathrooms, and that's the one thing people want me to do. My sister does this back home and it works well when you have children in kindergarten. it's also nice I can bring DD to the two houses I have. So I may be getting more work in the new year, but I"m happy with just the two for now, it keeps me out of the kitchen eating....=) and I get exercise also. 3 hours at one house with out stopping and 2 hours at the other. I'm happy, for now, I don't have to deal with the public and I'm my own boss....=) 100% goes to me... you know what I mean. I would like to do garden work but I may add that into the mix next year we will see how things go.
I can't believe there's only 13 days until Christmas, boy that's scary. Well I'm ready for that I think, I hope you all are, take care and Happy stitching if you find time.

I can't believe the holidays are over, we had a great Christmas and New
Year, and are now getting back in to the groove....Early morning hockey
today, and will just be heading off to work soon. I have 3 houses I'm
cleaning now and I think I'm at my limit. But we will see, it's cutting
into my work out time....lol but I guess it's a work out also.

My cleaning jobs are great, I work tues for 2 1/2 hours, Wed for 4 hours and thursday for 2 hours, I'm like it alot actually...no more weekend or nights...now I know why my sister has been house cleaning all these years...especially with kids.
Well bye for now, I'm waiting for spring so I can get out in the garden and get the moss out of my grass......=)
My update.....busy busy around here, the kids are off for spring
break. DS just had his last hockey game yesterday, his team was
in a tournament for the weekend, they came 5th out of 8 teams, and ended
on a winning note. Ball Hockey starts mid April.
I haven't been stitching at all, we have been sick and my hand have been bad with exzeama. I also have been out in my yard trying to get the moss out....the front grass I got 3 full bags of moss.....and my yard isn't that big....I put more moss killer down....I'm going to be raking more soon.
I'm not doing well in the weight lose area....=( But hope to get back at it soon.....

everyone it's April 9th already I can't believe it. I have been
working on my family tree "Through the Years" started way way
back....but it was one of my early starts and has alot of mistakes, so
it's hard to keep on the right line...etc...but I did photo copy to make
a working copy and highlight as I go now....I will post pics
soon...just heading to my cousins house here shortly. But for the last
week I have been Scrapbooking none stop....I have all the stuff just
haven't got my ass in gear....but actually, I think I got the bug
again...well I never had it....but hubby got a new computer and moved
the other desk down stairs giving me room to set up my scrapbooking
area......and I love it, I can com and go when ever I like...it's always
set up and ready for me. '
And then there's my garden.....I have started seeds inside, and have to baby them....re-pot, split up....etc....I have lots and lots of tomatoe plants....just one thing I forgot to label my seeds....so I have a mystry when the plants do grow up and into plants...my tomatoes are either cherry or roma I don't know ...=) Here's a picture of them, above I guess I wanted the pic down here....anyhow I have to go and get ready, so many things to do so little time...take care everyone and Happy stitching or whatever your up to now...=)

Hi all, life is just flying by...only 2 months or so of school...what's up with that....
Well it's been cold ish here, so I haven't been doing much outside, just fertilizing my grass, cutting it, and thank god the moss has been killed for now....=) I dug up another area for a flower garden, so I'm just waiting to get my plants in the ground, I went to a sale at a local nursery, and picked up some ever-bearing raspberries, I have never had that kind before, but I love my strawberries that are ever-bearing....=) I also picked up a camilla pink bush...and can't wait to see it next year in bloom. I have my sweet peas poking up from the dirt, and I'm still nursing my 100 or so Tomato plants that I started from seed...and I'm not sure if they are Roma or Cherry....so that's not good.
I have been walking every day....well about 5 days a week with a friend, we walk for an hour or so, and it is great because it doesn't seem like exercise at all, with all our talking....=)
I'm finally having my garage sale tomorrow, I have to get my signs out and I hope people come because I haven't put it in the paper, but I have had it set up in my garage since last year....and I have finally had enough of it.....lol slow I know....so I hope to sell alot of it, then I'm going to call some one to pick it up or take it to Value Village...or something like that....okay well I have to go and put up my signs...I will talk to you later, have a great weekend...=)

We had a busy weekend but aren't they all, Yard Sale on Sat, did pretty good, weather was great. DH came home from Quebec City he was there for 5 days for work.
We went to my son's Ball hockey today, then grocery shopping...we just needed steak and ended up spending 120.00...what's up with that...any how, our gas is at $1.30 litre and going up....our money sure doesn't last anymore does it...any how I ate to much and need to go for a walk....I will go on my treadmill I think....okay I will talk to everyone later, have a great week....take care Richelle

I can't believe the holidays are over, we had a great Christmas and New
Year, and are now getting back in to the groove....Early morning hockey
today, and will just be heading off to work soon. I have 3 houses I'm
cleaning now and I think I'm at my limit. But we will see, it's cutting
into my work out time....lol but I guess it's a work out also. Here's a poc of my brother and sisters at Christmas.

it's great if you want to stitching a pic and it has different count
sizes...it was $26. something canadian with a 40 % off coupon. My cleaning jobs are great, I work tues for 2 1/2 hours, Wed for 4 hours and thursday for 2 hours, I'm like it alot actually...no more weekend or nights...now I know why my sister has been house cleaning all these years...especially with kids.
Well bye for now, I'm waiting for spring so I can get out in the garden and get the moss out of my grass......=)

I haven't been stitching at all, we have been sick and my hand have been bad with exzeama. I also have been out in my yard trying to get the moss out....the front grass I got 3 full bags of moss.....and my yard isn't that big....I put more moss killer down....I'm going to be raking more soon.
I'm not doing well in the weight lose area....=( But hope to get back at it soon.....

Hi
everyone it's April 9th already I can't believe it. I have been
working on my family tree "Through the Years" started way way
back....but it was one of my early starts and has alot of mistakes, so
it's hard to keep on the right line...etc...but I did photo copy to make
a working copy and highlight as I go now....I will post pics
soon...just heading to my cousins house here shortly. But for the last
week I have been Scrapbooking none stop....I have all the stuff just
haven't got my ass in gear....but actually, I think I got the bug
again...well I never had it....but hubby got a new computer and moved
the other desk down stairs giving me room to set up my scrapbooking
area......and I love it, I can com and go when ever I like...it's always
set up and ready for me. 'And then there's my garden.....I have started seeds inside, and have to baby them....re-pot, split up....etc....I have lots and lots of tomatoe plants....just one thing I forgot to label my seeds....so I have a mystry when the plants do grow up and into plants...my tomatoes are either cherry or roma I don't know ...=) Here's a picture of them, above I guess I wanted the pic down here....anyhow I have to go and get ready, so many things to do so little time...take care everyone and Happy stitching or whatever your up to now...=)

I'm heading to my friends tonight for a crop night first one in a long long time....we should have a great night....I hope to get some pages up and going, but who knows...I might do better on my own....we will see.

Well it's been cold ish here, so I haven't been doing much outside, just fertilizing my grass, cutting it, and thank god the moss has been killed for now....=) I dug up another area for a flower garden, so I'm just waiting to get my plants in the ground, I went to a sale at a local nursery, and picked up some ever-bearing raspberries, I have never had that kind before, but I love my strawberries that are ever-bearing....=) I also picked up a camilla pink bush...and can't wait to see it next year in bloom. I have my sweet peas poking up from the dirt, and I'm still nursing my 100 or so Tomato plants that I started from seed...and I'm not sure if they are Roma or Cherry....so that's not good.
I have been walking every day....well about 5 days a week with a friend, we walk for an hour or so, and it is great because it doesn't seem like exercise at all, with all our talking....=)
I'm finally having my garage sale tomorrow, I have to get my signs out and I hope people come because I haven't put it in the paper, but I have had it set up in my garage since last year....and I have finally had enough of it.....lol slow I know....so I hope to sell alot of it, then I'm going to call some one to pick it up or take it to Value Village...or something like that....okay well I have to go and put up my signs...I will talk to you later, have a great weekend...=)

We had a busy weekend but aren't they all, Yard Sale on Sat, did pretty good, weather was great. DH came home from Quebec City he was there for 5 days for work.
We went to my son's Ball hockey today, then grocery shopping...we just needed steak and ended up spending 120.00...what's up with that...any how, our gas is at $1.30 litre and going up....our money sure doesn't last anymore does it...any how I ate to much and need to go for a walk....I will go on my treadmill I think....okay I will talk to everyone later, have a great week....take care Richelle

May 17, 2008, my baby sister got married, the weather was beautiful, but the bride and groom made the day shine....=)we have lots of pics and will post them on my facebook album or maybe Webshots.
today May 20, 2008 - we are having sheet lightning and thunder today the whole house is shaking....
I finished my cs for them....and gave it to them Thursday night at the wedding shower.....=)
