Merry Christmas to all, not sure I will get back on any time soon....busy busy around here like always.  I haven't been cross stitching, but after teaching my daughter to crochet, I have got the bug, again.  I started making 5 sock monkey hats for my niece and nephews, and then for DD, and I have now sold 2 Hello Kitty hats.  I'm going to keep making them, and hopefully sell them at a craft fair or online, not sure. 
  Both kids are playing hockey, so we are busy doing that,  It never seems to end.  So we got the first set of many notes, saying we may be moving to Alaska in the summer, we have to do alot of screening etc before, but things are in the works.  we will be at the Elmendorf Base in Anchorage, so that's exciting. 
Well off to get ready for my sons hockey game, have a Merry Christmas and Happy 2012

Can't believe it's Oct all ready.  We have been busy with being back to school and hockey and DH and I working.  The whole calender is filled in already.  I have been trying to take my camera out and about, but it's hard to find time.  DD has learn t how to crochet, but hasn't really done much since the summer.  I have been crocheting and picked up a bit of knitting, but like crocheting way more....=) it's hard to teach an old dog tricks.  I have done a bit of cross stitching but it's not as much fun as it used to be....taking it any where, now I have to stay home with my light and up close glasses.

Well we may have moving news in April May 2012 so we will wait and see....I will keep you all in the loop, off to bed take care Richelle

I crocheted this many years ago, just need to finish the head, I lost the pattern, so finished it the other day, it's a draft doll... (to help drafts from under your door)....but doesn't work that great.

Summer is here...finally

   July 6th 2011 and I can finally say summer has arrived.  We have had shitty weather so far this summer, but not as bad as some in the world that's for sure.  So been busy busy, working getting the kids finished with school activities. DS will be heading for Grade 9, and a new school and DD will be in Grade 4. Can't believe it, but after the beach day yesterday, so glad they are older, we got to the beach around 9:30am and took a few pics of them then DH and I just relaxed watching all the families and little kids. 
  I have been taking pictures, trying to learn more about photography.......so much to learn. 
Last weekend, DD learnt to crochet, of course I got rid of alot of my thread and books.  I'm doing a bit of Cross Stitching as well....nothing to much, making some of those Princess Letters for a couple ofDD's friends.  But that's about it.  Still have to finish our Scrap book pages from our Disney Trip in April, but can't find the get up to do it.
Well not much is going on around here, just living life....=) take care and have a wonderful summer all....

March 14 2011 ~ Days gone By~

Hi Everyone, busy busy around here, with work, hockey and all the rest in between.  My Brother and girlfriend had a baby boy March 9th, still haven't seen him, can't wait until hockey is over so we can take a trip up island to see them.
I went on my first really baby shoot yesterday for Olivia, and told DH it was going to be good or bad, and I loved it.....so hopefully things will flourish from here....fingers crossed.  I can't wait to photography my nephew as well.

2011 - boy is the years really starting to fly by.....

Jan 28th already.  I can't believe it, we are busy busy around here, seems like we never get a day off, it's good and bad all rolled into one.  but 78 days until our next Disney Cruise, so we will get some down time then. 

My sister and brother in law from Fort McMurray had a new baby boy so two boys for them. photo to the side of them all....wish I could visit them but it's just to far away and need to save for our Cruise.  I'm working on the same pillow I made for Osten when he was born.

I'm stitching in the letter for the baby announcement I made  a few years ago and will post pic when finished, for a girl at work, who had a baby girl the day after my sister did.
