So needless to say I haven't done to much stitching but try to get a bit done when I have time. I will post pics of my WIP....it's coming along well, now that I got the missing colour floss,...etc...and I don't know why companies say to stitch with 3 strands....I like the look of 2 and I still run out of floss.....thank god I have a lot in my floss stash. I haven't bought any stitching stuff in so long, I have so much here to stitch....okay maybe I have bought new needles, because they seem to go missing and I like the smaller ones. Any how, I will talk to you all later take care and Happy stitching.....=)

Almost the end of Sept......OMG
Hi Everyone, so I'm guessing you can tell we are busy.....=) Kids back at school, hockey, cadets, I got a job at Thrifty Foods (I used to work there in Courtenay), so the month has just flew by. I have my first last shift tonight...it's going to be late, and then the drive home....it will be past my bed time when I get home.....=) It's nice DH mostly working days, so that he can taxi the kids around when I have to work.....=) I'm not sure how people do this with more then 2 kids....I guess you just adjust your schedules....

OMG....it's almost the end of summer, I can't believe it. I think the kids are ready to go back to school, I have started them going to bed early ish...getting ready
I joined http://groups.yahoo.com/group/VictoriaSampler/ and stitched my humbug for the contest. My finish ended up being 1 inch by 1 inch....I added pictures in my 2010 cross stitching album. I love how this looks and will try to make a few for gifts for Christmas.

Hi all, another busy time around here it seems, just adding some
pictures of our summer so far, not doing to much this summer, because of
our April cruise. Kids go back to school here Sept 7th I think the
tues....which ever date that is. DS goes to Grade 8 and DD is in Grade
3....it's scary.
I'm looking for a job, not that hard but looking all the same.....=) The price of things are just going up up up...=(
We are heading to the beach tomorrow with DD's friend, her sister and her Grandma, so the kids will have a fun time looking for shells/crabs...etc. It's been so hot here, we are breaking weather temps all over the board. it's a bit cooler here being on the ocean, we get alot of fog.
I haven't been cross stitching at all, but will hopefully get into it come cooler weather, Well I hope everyone is enjoying their summer vacation, bye for now Richelle

July 6th
Oh my where has the time gone, the kids are out of school now, but summer hasn't arrived around here on account of Mother Nature...but today it looks nice and sunny and warm...and the weather man has warm weather in the forecast finally. We haven't been doing much, been doing a bit of Geo Caching and hiking, and that's about it.
